Being a parent is a great blessing of God. Parenting is a process of promoting and supporting the physical, emotional, social and intellectual development of a child from infancy to adulthood. Parenting refers to the activity of raising a child rather than the biological relationship.
The goal of parenting is to help your child become a responsible and ethical adult. To achieve this goal parents should focus on early childhood development for which a parent must spend time with a child. Parents should encourage their child on each and every small thing he does. Parents should not restrict their child from doing any positive work. It is important for parents to listen and communicate in open, respectful ways, so the children will feel safe in discussing their problems and feelings.

With pressures and issues like drugs and other negative things, which children are facing today, they need for open communication and positive family relations is vital. Parents should be very much concerned on their child and whole family should sit together to discuss something positive to develop positive attitude and background in child.
Everyone learn from their mistakes, even parents. If a child does any mistake, parents should not scold him in fact, parents should be positive enough if they want to improve and develop good attitude in their child. Many parents create their own style from a combination of factors, and these may evolve over time as the children develop their own personalities and move through different life stages. Authoritarian parenting is the style of parenting in which, children are expected to follow the strict rules established by the parents. Failure to follow these rules usually results in punishments. Authoritarian parents fail to explain the reasoning behind these rules. If asked to explain, the parent might simply reply, “Because I said so”. These parents have high demands, but are not responsive to their children.
Like authoritarian parents, those with an authoritative parenting style establish rules and guidelines that their children are expected to follow. However, this parenting style is much more democratic. Authoritative parents are responsive to their children and willing to listen to questions. When children fail to meet the expectations, these parents is more nurturing and forgiving rather than punishing.
Permissive parents, sometimes referred as indulgent parents, have very few demands to make on their children. These parents rarely discipline their children because they have relatively low expectations of maturity and self-control.
An uninvolved parenting style is authorized by few demands, low responsiveness and little communication.
Parents should help their child in every field of life so that they could become a good person in his future life.
